• Must have completed 15 years of service in the Indian Air Force
• Discharge book/certificate from the Indian Air Force must clearly indicate medical category, date of discharge, and an Exemplary/Very Good or equivalent record

The candidate's 15 years of service in the Indian Air Force itself constitutes the required post-qualification experience for this post.

• Selection is through a Written Test, followed by an Interview only for those candidates who qualify in the written test
• Candidates are shortlisted for interview in the ratio of 1:7 (as per vacancy in each category)
• Where the number of eligible applicants is high, the number called for the written test itself may be limited in proportion to the requirement, based on academic excellence, experience, etc.
• Candidature is provisional at all stages and subject to satisfactory antecedent verification; an adverse antecedent report leads to cancellation
• Appointment of selected candidates is subject to being found medically fit in a Pre-Employment Medical Examination – no relaxation in health standards is allowed

1. Download the application format from www.bel-india.in.
2. Fill the application form in the prescribed format on A4 size paper, in capital letters, and paste a recent photograph on it.
3. Attach self-attested photocopies of all required documents (see Documents Required below).
4. Place the filled application and documents in a sealed cover, superscribing on the cover: "Application for the post of Sr. Asst. Engineer, E-I Grade/NCS SBU".
5. Send the sealed cover by Registered Post/Speed Post/Courier only to: Deputy General Manager (HR & Administration), Bharat Electronics Limited, Ghaziabad.
6. Ensure the application reaches BEL on or before 16 October 2026.

Documents Required

• SSLC mark card (as proof of age)
• Self-attested copies of certificates and mark sheets for all semesters/years of the Diploma Engineering (or equivalent) examination
• Experience certificate/appointment letter/latest salary slip from present employer (if currently employed)
• PAN Card copy (identity proof)
• Aadhaar Card copy (identity proof)
• Discharge book/certificate issued by the Indian Air Force, clearly indicating medical category, date of discharge, and Exemplary/Very Good or equivalent record
• Caste/tribe/community certificate issued by competent authority, if applicable
• Disability certificate (for PwBD) / caste certificate for OBC(NCL)/SC/ST in the prescribed format available on the BEL website; OBC-NCL candidates must submit a certificate issued on or after 01.08.2026
• No Objection Certificate, for candidates currently employed in Government/Quasi-Government/PSU organisations (or the application must be routed through proper channel)
• Documentary proof of medical category, character, and probable date of discharge, for candidates still serving and yet to be discharged

Important Conditions

• Tenure of engagement is 15 years or up to superannuation (60 years of age), whichever is earlier; the engagement is reviewed every 5 years based on individual performance and project requirements
• Posting shall be at PAN-India project site locations as per company requirement (e.g., Vadsar/Ahmedabad, Ayanagar/Delhi, Jodhpur, Bangalore, Shillong, Memaura/Lucknow, Salua/West Bengal, Port Blair, Ambala, Barnala, Bikaner, Gwalior, Hashimara, Kavaratti, Leh, Tambaram, Tezpur)
• Request for change of category (General/SC/ST/OBC-NCL) once declared in the application will not be entertained
• Mere fulfilment of the minimum qualification and experience does not entitle a candidate to be called for the written test
• Mere issue of an admit card does not imply that the candidature has been finally cleared by BEL
