Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess both of the following qualifications:

• Passed the Maharashtra State Secondary School Certificate examination.
• Passed ITI in the Electrician trade from an Industrial Training Institute recognized by the National Council for Vocational Training.

The candidate's name on the SSC and ITI mark sheets must match the name recorded on the Aadhaar card.

Age Limit

The age will be calculated as of 1 September 2026.

Training Period

Selected candidates will be engaged as Electrician apprentices for a period of one year during 2026-27.

The apprenticeship will be governed by the applicable apprenticeship rules and regulations.

Selection Process

The apprentice merit list will be prepared using the combined marks obtained in SSC and ITI examinations.

Selection will also be made according to the applicable social reservation rules.

Maharashtra Domicile Requirement

Candidates must possess a valid Maharashtra domicile certificate. Applicants claiming category or reservation benefits must also submit the applicable certificates issued by the competent authority.

• SSC passing certificate and mark sheet
• ITI Electrician mark sheets for all four semesters
• ITI Electrician passing certificate
• School leaving certificate
• Aadhaar card
• Caste certificate, where applicable
• Maharashtra domicile certificate
• Non-Creamy Layer certificate for applicable categories
• EWS certificate, where applicable
• SEBC certificate issued by the competent authority, where applicable
• Online apprenticeship registration printout
• Completed application form attached to the notification
• Other applicable supporting documents

Required documents must first be scanned clearly and uploaded to the candidate's Apprenticeship India profile.

1. Visit the Apprenticeship India portal.
2. Complete apprentice registration using a valid email address and mobile number.
3. Enter the correct personal, educational and category information.
4. Upload clear scanned copies of the required certificates.
5. Search for the MSETCL EHV O&M Division, Amravati establishment.
6. Use Establishment Registration Number E01172700169.
7. Select the Electrician apprenticeship opportunity.
8. Submit the online application between 18 and 30 September 2026.
9. Take a printout of the completed online registration and application.
10. Complete the application form attached to the official notification.
11. Attach self-attested copies of the required documents.
12. Submit the complete application to the prescribed MSETCL office by 15 October 2026 at 6:00 PM.

Applications submitted outside the prescribed online application period will not be considered.
