Selection is made by the District Selection Committee (DSC) on the following basis:
- Selection is done on merit, based on aggregate marks obtained in the qualifying examination, as per educational guidelines.
- The Rule of Reservation is followed as per Government Orders in force from time to time.
- Presidential Order 2018 is followed.
- A roster is followed for posts with more than one vacancy; the existing roster is continued.
